			 Metalwork Skills 
		  The following are small and quick projects that a Junior Cycle student should be able to manufacture inside 80 minutes. They will test a variety of skills of marking out and simple manufacture.

  How you use these small projects is up to you of course but the following is my initial idea of how they will be used with 2nd Year students. 
    Students must complete any 10 of these Skills Tests during the year, 5 before Christmas.The Skill Tests will account for 20% of Christmas and Summer Exams.The student may choose which Skill Tests to do and when. (Only during Practical Classes)The class before the student wishes to do a SKill Test, they will inform the teacher of their intention and may take the chosen drawing home to study.    The Skill Test must be completed during the next class, without the assistance of the teacher or other students.  |
